How to turn on Downtime to Limit iPad Usage.
1) Go to Screen Time settings on the iPad.
2) Select the "Downtime" option. You will be required to enter the passcode. If a passcode is already on the device, please email [email protected].

3) Turn the "Scheduled" toggle on and select your days and times you wish for downtime to occur. You can set it to be the same every day or you can customize days if you wish to give different options on the weekends. There is also a button to turn on Downtime right away regardless of the schedule.
4) Go back to the main Screen Time options, and select "Always Allowed."
5) Here is where you can select apps that you want to make available during Downtime. You can select any and all school apps. All other apps listed below were not be accessible during Downtime.
You will notice that Safari is not an option to add or remove as a downtime app. That is because it automatically blocks it during downtime. There is a button to "add 1 minute" to any website, but after the minute has passed, you can no longer access that site until Downtime is over.
