Mandarin Character Strokes
Using Playdough/Clay, you will create a Stop Motion video were you will show the stroke order for the Mandarin characters that make up your name. You will then add a short audio clip in iMovie, in which you will introduce yourself in Mandarin.
1) Shape Clay/ PlaydoughForm the clay/playdough into the characters that make up your name in Mandarin. (Be sure that EACH STROKE is a different piece.) Your name should fit onto a piece of paper.
|
2) REcord in Stop Motion StudioUsing Stop Motion Studio, you will show how your name is written in Chinese characters. Show pieces "growing" to depict the direction each stroke is drawn.

3) Add Audio in iMovieExport video clip to iMovie to add an audio clip where you introduce yourself and your name in Mandarin. Submit final video to the Schoology Discussion

2. Carefully remove all of the letters from the paper. Find your FIRST STROKE and break off a piece of it. Place the first part of the stroke on the page and take another picture of it. Add a little more and take another. (Make sure you start on the side of the stroke that you would draw first.)
