Adversity Project
As you are creating your graphic argument, make sure to consider:
- LAYOUT : full page? Half pages? A series of smaller boxes? What makes the most sense to express your ideas?
- SIZE : consider the relative sizes of the people/things in your images. What should be biggest? Smallest? What do you want the reader to focus on?
- MOOD : What is the mood or tone of your work? What emotions do you want readers to feel? What colors will you use to create this mood?
-TEXT FEATURES : How will you use captions, speech bubbles, and fonts to express your ideas?

Using Notability Tools
Layout: Use the templates provided to you in Schoology. You can send the desired template to Notability. If it's the first page you are sending to notability, you can "Create a New Note." If you are adding to your existing project, choose "Add to Another Note" or if the document is already open, choose the option that lets you add to that file name.
Coloring/Tracing Over Pictures: Add a picture you would like to turn into a graphic novel or comic style. Use the pen tool and the highlighter tool to to color over the image.
Pen Tool/ Highlighter Tool: Tap on the tools a second time to access pen/highlighter style and color choices. Swipe to the right for additional styles and color choices.
Think about the colors you choose. Do they match the rest of your project? Does the mood of the colors match your adversity?

Adding speech/thought bubbles: You must first make sure this website is open in Safari. Then hold your finger down on the desired images below then save to your Photos.
Insert the desired bubble into your Notability the same way you would your other pictures. You can add color to these by utilizing the highlighter or pen tools above.
Adding Text: You can add text boxes to your graphic novel/ comic by tapping the text tool option and then drawing a text box. You can also change the font color, style, and size on the keyboard itself. The font and color should help set an appropriate mood for your comic/graphic novel.
